A Spark AR Alternative, Built by Fans for Creators

We loved Spark AR too. Vincentt is camera infrastructure for the web: face, hand, and body effects you build with an AI agent and share with a link.

We all loved Spark AR. We're fans too.

It was where a whole generation of creators learned what a camera could do. You could make a face light up, a background melt, a game start with a blink, and watch it travel across millions of phones overnight. For a lot of us, it was the first time code, design, and play felt like one craft.

One effect sums it all up for us: Teejay Jamlang's TWRK Christmas filter on Instagram. Open it and a little Santa popped onto your nose, shaking his behind to Christmas music every time you moved your face. Yes, a Christmas twerk effect, on your nose. Teejay, a creator from the Philippines, made something silly, joyful, and impossible not to share, and it still takes us straight back to the days we spent just playing with the camera.

So when creators lost their home for those effects,[1] we didn't want that craft to disappear with it. We built the infrastructure and the ecosystem so that every creator like us can keep building, seamlessly.

What we kept from Spark AR

The things that made Spark AR special are the things we cared about most:

  • Face, hands, and body. Tracking that follows people closely, so effects stick, react, and feel alive.
  • Instant, playful results. You should see your idea on a real face in minutes, not days.
  • A creator community. Templates to learn from, remix, and build on.

What we built for the web

Our goal is simple: the best-quality camera infrastructure for the web, and the most time-saving, convenient way to use it.

  • Tracking you don't have to wire up. Face, hands, body, and person segmentation are ready to use.
  • Build by describing. Vincentt works best with a coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex, or ChatGPT. Describe the effect, bring your files, and the agent builds it.
  • Preview on a real phone. See the effect through a real camera while it's being built.
  • Publish to a link. Every effect gets its own web address, and your own domain if you want it.
  • Know how it's doing. Versions, analytics, and traffic live in one console.

Spark AR effects lived inside Meta's apps.[2] Vincentt lives on the open web, so your effect isn't tied to one platform: post the link on Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, a poster, or a pack, and it opens straight in the browser.

Bring your Spark AR ideas over

There's no one-click import, and honestly, you won't need one. Most effects are quicker to rebuild than they were to make the first time.

  1. Gather what you made. Textures, 3D models, sounds, and any reference video of the effect working.
  2. Describe the behaviour. "When the mouth opens, confetti bursts from it." That sentence replaces a page of patches.
  3. Let the agent build it. It wires up the tracking and the interaction for you.
  4. Preview and tweak. Check it on your phone and change anything by asking.
  5. Share the link. Publish, and put it anywhere your audience is.

Questions people ask

What is a good Spark AR alternative?

Vincentt lets you build the same kinds of face, hand, and body effects you made in Spark AR, but for the web. An AI agent builds the effect from your files and a brief, you preview it on a real phone, and you share it with a link that opens in any phone browser.

Is Spark AR still available?

No. Meta Spark AR Studio and third-party effects on Instagram and Facebook are no longer available, which is why many creators are looking for a new home for their effects.

Can I import my Spark AR projects into Vincentt?

There's no one-click import. Bring your textures, 3D models, and sounds, describe how the effect should behave, and the AI agent rebuilds it on Vincentt. Most effects come back faster than they were first made.

Do people need Instagram or an app to use effects made with Vincentt?

No. Effects open from a link in the phone's browser, including Safari on iPhone. You can share that link anywhere, including Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
